Payment Options



Utility bills:
Utility bill payments are due on the 15th each month. After the 15th, a 5% late penalty will be applied to any outstanding balances. Contact the utility clerk at (740) 983-2541 EXT 1 if you have questions about your bill.

Utility Bills may be paid:

  • In office by cash, check, or money order
  • After hours by check or money order in the drop box located across from the municipal building main doors (no cash in the drop box, please)
  • With a credit or debit card online or by phone at (740) 983-2541 EXT 9 
    • *A $4.95 service fee applies to all utility payments made with a credit or debit card*

Contact the clerk of courts at (740) 983-2541 ext. 2 if you have any questions about your citation.


Citations may be paid:

  • In office by cash, check, or money order

    • You will need your ticket number, amount due, and original court date when paying by card. This information can be found on your ticket. If you have lost your ticket, you may contact the clerk of courts for that information at the number above..
